What changes the price of a roof
Repair or full replacement
Patching a section of shingles or a damaged run of metal costs a lot less than stripping and redoing the whole roof. We tell you which one the roof actually needs.
What's under the shingles or panels
Sound decking and trusses keep a job simple. Rot, old water damage, or storm-broken framing adds wood replacement to the roofing itself.
Roof size and pitch
A bigger roof or a steep pitch takes more material and more time to work safely, which shows up in the price.
Metal versus shingle
Metal panel roofing costs more up front than shingles but goes on in fewer pieces. We'll quote either, depending on what you want.
Access
A steep driveway, a tight backyard, or a roof over an addition that's hard to reach with a ladder or lift changes how long the job takes.
Cleanup scope
A tear-off generates a lot of old material. Hauling it off is part of the quote, not an add-on afterward.

Roofing questions
How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?
Send photos and we'll give you a read before we come out. Once we're on the roof we can tell you whether the damage is isolated or the roofing has failed broadly enough that a full replacement makes more sense than chasing individual repairs.
Do you do both metal and shingle roofs?
Yes. We put a metal roof on the new home we built and also do shingle repair and replacement. Tell us what's already on the house, or what you'd rather have, and we'll price it.
A tree fell on my roof. What now?
Call or text photos as soon as you can get them, including of any exposed decking or trusses. We'll look at both the roofing damage and the structure underneath, since storm damage often affects both.
Can you replace the trusses or decking, not just the roofing?
Yes, that's part of the same crew and the same visit. If the wood under the shingles or panels needs replacing, we quote that along with the roofing itself rather than stopping at the surface.
Do you put roofs on porches and outbuildings, not just houses?
Yes. Covered porches, sheds, and detached garages all get roofed the same way, matched to what the job calls for.
How fast can someone look at storm damage?
